iv. Where does ABRS offer its biohazard remediation services?

v. Please explain ABRS’ remediation process?

Property owners risk fines that range from $7,000 to $70,000 for failing to precisely conform to OSHA’s Bloodborne Pathogens regulation… 29 CFR 1910:1030!

ABRS recognizes that biohazard remediation is both an extremely complex process and an immense liability for property owners.  Legally unable shift to the liability of proper biohazard remediation to another entity, property owners in need of biohazard remediation services are subject to stiff fines, penalties, and legal action if they fail to fully comply with a variety of multi-faceted OSHA, EPA, and State regulations that govern biohazard remediation.

Conducted by our highly trained, competent, and certified technicians, ABRS’ remediation methodology is extremely specialized and very dynamic.  This approach enables us to fine-tune every aspect of the remediation process so that we may accommodate for the specific needs and sensitivities of our clientele; and too purge related liabilities for the property owner.

As an ABRS client, you will be assigned to your very own Remediation Liaison Aide (RLA) immediately upon contacting us. Your RLA will competently and compassionately guide you through each step of the biohazard remediation process.  Several aspects of the remediation process may include determining a time and date to begin remediation, establish on-scene security and privacy needs, coordinating with relevant public safety officials, defining appropriate disposal of contaminated materials, managing needed contractors, and thoroughly explaining payment options.

Upon completion of the remediation process, you and your RLA will conduct a final tour of the scene.  During the final tour, each aspect of the remediation process that was undertaken will be reviewed.

vi. Why Choose Absolute Bio-Recovery Service, Inc. (ABRS)?

Bio-recovery remediation, no matter the scope, should only be performed by competent and highly trained professionals.  Our technicians often encounter a variety of hazards, most of which are latent and which vary greatly in size and difficulty.  Upon arriving at each scene, ABRS’ highly experienced Lead Crime & Trauma Scene Bio-Recovery Technician’s systematically guide their remediation teams through our detailed S.O.P.’s and protocols; both of which have been painstakingly developed specifically by ABRS.

Our proven S.O.P.’s and protocols address a variety of critical topics including, but not limited to protective clothing / gear requirements, required equipment, preservation of client property / belongings, isolation of high risk areas, and hazardous material disposal, etc.  Moreover, our S.O.P.’s and protocols ensure that we conduct our operations in full compliance with policy dictated by the U.S. Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), as well as compliance with all regulations of the states in which we operate in.

With extensive knowledge in all facets of remediation, ABRS takes great pride in the diversity of the real world experiences that our employees and technicians offer to clients, partners, and ultimately our firm.  Accordingly, each of our Crime & Trauma Scene Bio-Recovery Technician’s must successfully complete a rigorous, internationally recognized certification process.  This intense certification process is administered by the industry’s foremost accrediting body, the American Bio-Recovery Association (ABRA); and includes training and evaluation in Crime & Trauma Scene Remediation, OSHA Blood Borne Pathogen Decontamination, and First Aid and CPR.

In addition to successfully completing the ABRA certification process and prior to representing ABRS on-scene, our technician’s must also demonstrate their competence, understanding, and ability to adhere to our protocols and standard operating procedures (S.O.P.’s).  Finally, in our pro-active effort to maintain proficiency and to stay abreast with new practices and procedures, each of our technicians are subjected to regular, ongoing training and re-certification throughout the duration of their employment with ABRS.

x. What is the American Bio-Recovery Association (ABRA)?

xi. Who is financially responsible for biohazard remediation services?

Our number one priority at ABRS is to ensure that all of our clients’ needs are thoroughly and compassionately met. Insurance claims, forms, and protocols are often confusing, particularly for those who have suffered from severe trauma.  ABRS is well versed in the various steps taken to ensure appropriate settlement of insurance claims. We will be available, upon the request of the client, to assist with clients desiring assistance with this aspect of the biohazard remediation process.

In addition, for those of our clients and their property who have been victimized through crime, financial assistance may also be available through the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP).  Just as we do with your insurance claims, we are also available to offer guidance with the various protocols that the CVAP employs concerning appropriate client assistance solutions.

xii. What is ABRS’ policy on protecting my client’s privacy?

Please contact ABRS directly for information pertaining to the privacy of your personal information.
